Mrs.  Tangie  Sweatman,

Principal of Jack's Creek Elementary

My name is Tangie Sweatman.  I am the principal at Jack's Creek Elementary School in Chester County, Tennessee. I received an Associate of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Jackson State Community College.  I then transferred to the University of Memphis and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 2002.  In 2008, I received a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Administration and Supervision from Freed-Hardeman University.

I have had the privilege of serving Chester County students for eighteen years, eleven years in the classroom and seven years as school administrator. My passion is to give all students the opportunity to grow and learn in a safe and nurturing environment. Our school motto, GROWING OUR COMMUNITY, stems from our goal of positively impacting all students to prepare them to be successful citizens in our community.

I am fortunate to work with the faculty, staff, teachers, and families of the Jack's Creek community, and I look forward to an exciting future as we prepare our students to be the best they can be.
